Office BuildingKaski Association of the Blind (KAB) is a non-Governmental, non-profit self-help organization of the blind, founded by passionate and committed youth with a visual impairment. KAB aims at promoting  and protecting  rights and interests of the blind people residing in the Kaski district through empowerment, advocacy and awareness-raising initiatives.

KAB’s vision is a self-reliant community of the visually impaired people in the Kaski district capable of living a dignified and productive life and participating in the developmental mainstream as equals. We envision a society where they will have an equal access to opportunities and will enjoy a barrier free social environment.

We see ourselves as a truly leading regional and professional organization of the blind by the blind and for the blind in the Kaski district.

OUR MISSION

The mission of KAB is to use the self-help development model as a tool toward achieving self-reliance of the blind and visually impaired people of Kaski, enabling them to access their rightful opportunities.
